A collections of stories and testimonies of how CSM has helped people all around the world!
Ken,
I read the spring Issue of CSM’s newsletter last night and was stirred by the article on alcoholism. I, too, have heard many Christians object against addicts in recovery who continue to call themselves addicts, and I find their objections regrettable. For many reasons you name, and others, too, many Christians have found that the moment they cease to speak of themselves as addicts, or alcoholics, they depart from the way of grace.
In my experience, it is no different than a non-alcoholic
Christian reminding himself that he is a sinner. He is
saved. He is redeemed. He is healed. But surely he is
mistaken if he ceases to think of himself as a sinner.
Anyway, I was very thankful for your article, for its plainspokenness and its humility.
Thank you, Ken.

Hi Ken,
Thank you for all the prayers. [Losing my husband] is
probably the hardest thing I have ever been through or faced
in my life. My husband and I were best friends, and we did
everything together.
...I don’t understand, but through the scriptures of LMS
I have learned a great deal, and God has showed me that all
the days for us were ordained before one of them ever was. I
have to accept that our Lord is sovereign, and He knows what
is best.
...We truly believed that Larry was going to be one of God’s
miracles. It was not until the last two days that we knew,
and I accepted, that God was taking him home.... God gave me
the strength to loose my husband and let him go into the
hands of our loving Lord. And that is exactly what
happened.... I told him that I was so very proud to be his
wife. I told him that I couldn’t hold on to him any more. I
told him I didn’t want him to suffer any more, and I loosed
him and let him go into the hands of the Lord. And he went.
I’ve learned that if it isn’t going to matter tomorrow,
don’t let it matter today. Don’t sweat the small stuff (take
no offense). Walk in forgiveness toward others and yourself.
Remember that God can call us home at any time so let people
know how much they mean to you and what a gift their
friendship, love and relationship is to you. This does not
mean you should live in fear that your loved one won’t come
home. What it does mean is that you should show them love
and respect. Allow them to be different than you and
celebrate those differences instead of dislike them.
I had started the ILMS course [before my husband became ill]
and was unable to finish it...now I would like to start the
course again. I need to get into the Word and study. I also
need to learn again the life lessons this course teaches,
and I believe the Lord is leading me in this direction...
Thank you for your kindness, prayers and publications. I read them every time I get them...

I really like the way your website is set up. It shows the
blinded world the way to see our Light.

This book has changed by life more than any other book
except the Bible. I would be interested in maybe purchasing
30 copies and teaching a class at my church–an outline or
teacher’s guide could be helpful God bless you and your
ministry.

Dear Ken,
The book It’s About Time has been a tremendous blessing to me. I have had it since 1996, and I use it as a workbook to get myself better organized. Thank you so much for the blessing of this book.

Dear Ken,
May the Almighty God bless your ministry. This is a book all church ministers, leaders of all walks of life should not only read, but keep it as an office code. I would also suggest that God opening doors, you should organize time management seminars in Kenya. For after reading this book, I have come to understand how God’s work is not accomplished due to bad time management. Personally, I have been a bad time manager.
I would like to request that ...you please send me copies of this previous book to keep in my church library...Many leaders are coming for the book and I am not able to meet their demands...
Thanks and may God bless you and your ministry.

Ken,
This [daily accountability report] is very encouraging to
see that I did experience some success. I am battling
depression from all the overwhelming realizations that I am
having to face. Reading your book is a great source of
wisdom. I even believe that over time, with God’s grace and
strength, I can accomplish these things. As I read the
procrastination “bit” last Wednesday, things started to fall
into place (I only wish!!!!) in my mind. I am pushing a
HUGE, GIGANTIC mountain of procrastination that has been
growing for years, and the harder I push, the more of IT
comes tumbling down off the top onto my back. Augh!!!
Lord help me!!!

Hello, Ken,
Just want you to know I’m thinking about you. The work here in Kiev is really exciting. It is going well. The church is growing. The needs here are “as far as the eye can see in every direction.” All of the things I learned from you about organization are extremely important to me here.
It takes a lot of energy and time to live on the mission
field. And in order to make forward progress in ministry,
you must learn how to stay focused on priorities. I really
feel that you helped to prepare me for this position.
How are things going with you? How is CSM doing these days?
(Rev.) Sam Taylor
Hi, Ken,
...It has been many years since John and I took your
course in money management–ten years at least? If we haven’t
said this before, it needs to be said–our lives changed as a
result of it. We are impacted to this day by decisions made
as a result of your influence through this course, and it is
with grateful hearts that we are able to give back a little
of what we have gained through your ministry.
Many continuing blessings,
John and Mary White
