Got a Question?
Get an Answer.

How can you tithe when you can barely pay the rent? How do you decide where to give your limited volunteer time when the schools call, the church is asking for help and various charities have you in their spotlights as well? Which bills should you pay down first? How can you help children understand that your priorities are different, and therefore you won't sign them up for every activity, buy every hot toy or purchase all the latest fashions that their friends are talking about.

If you have questions about how to apply Biblical principles to your life or your finances, you're about to get an unique opportunity to have them answered. Beginning shortly, Ken Smith is returning to radio-not for a five-minute message, but a 30-minute call-in program on WCTN, at 950 on your AM dial. You will also be able to listen to the broadcast in real time via the web-and ask questions via email as well. WCTN's web address is www.WCTN.net. Look for times and days in the next Glad Tithings.

Ministry News

Many thanks to all of you who participated in CSM's Phantom Banquet. Nearly $10,000 was contributed to the ministry. Participants received a tape from Dr. James Dobson. CSM has also received more than $5,000 of the nearly $15,000 pledged through the Combined Federal Campaign this year.

At its annual retreat in March, the CSM board of directors agreed to four new projects for the ministry: a call-in radio counseling program on WCTN, AM 950, and its website, www.WCTN.net; development of a youth version of the Life Management Study; revision of the Internet LMS; and development of a Basic, abbreviated LMS. Completion of these projects depends upon sufficient funds becoming available. We're excited about the opportunity to expand the ministry in new directions and build on the foundation of the LMS.

To date, more than 340 individuals have completed CSM's Life Management Study course. If you haven't taken this life-changing course, there's another opportunity waiting for you in September. Don't miss it.

You will also want to visit the CSM website at http://www.csmin.org. You can keep up with CSM over the summer and link to other Christian organizations as well. If you have good ideas on other information or links we should include, please let us know.
