From LMS Students Greetings in the name of Our Lord! I had the pleasure of taking LMS in the fall of last year. Benefits and blessing abounded from this one-of-a-kind experience. I would be interested in leading an LMS class next year... Add me to email update list. I currently receive Glad Tithings. In His service, Bob Wilson --- Ken- Change takes time, and I have learned that in order to change major areas of my life, it needs to come in God's time not my time. After taking LMS over 6 months ago, I am finally seeing change. God has revealed to me that I need to set my daily anchors every day–rise time, sleep time and most important devotional/prayer time. My Savior desires to commune with me at 5:30 a.m. every day (I will say that I am not a morning person), but when God leads I better be obedient. LMS showed me that it is all about obedience not what I want! The LMS material is so rich and deep–packed full of God's truths. I praise God for LMS and the wealth of information that over time has been a catalyst for change in my life. Thanks, Ken, for your invaluable ministry! In Christ, Dan Britton From a reader of It's About Time Dear Ken, Thank you for writing It's About Time. I'm reading through for the second time and still learning. Bless you! Dale Willerton Jean Moore: If you have received mail from Christian Stewardship Ministries, Jean Moore would probably recognize your name. That's because until she relinquished the job this fall, she kept the CSM databases up to date–adding, deleting and changing addresses. Her quiet, behind-the-scenes work has provided about 10 volunteer hours per month to the ministry for the past 11 years. As database manager, she kept ministry mail flowing smoothly with a minimum of returns from the Post Office. Moore earns her living not entering data, but analyzing it, by industry, for the U.S. Geological Survey in Reston, Virginia. She began her work for CSM after taking the ministry's money management course in the mid-1980's. Moore found the concepts–particularly the stress on avoiding debt–so helpful that she wanted to contribute to the ministry, and CSM asked her to take on the mailing list database. A member of Harvester Presbyterian Church in America where she lives in Springfield, Virginia, Moore is involved in a counseling ministry that focuses on scripture as the source of answers to life's problems. She also works with Harvester's missions committee and the church's international ministry, which focuses on evangelism and teaching English as a second language to students, most of whom are registered at George Mason University. Moore came to know the Lord after her aunt and uncle encouraged her to come to the Washington area to find a job. Once settled in the area, she began to devour the Bible. "It was better than a novel. I couldn't put it down," she says. She became aware of the reality of Satan and her own sin. She saw her need for a savior, and asked Christ into her life.
