"Bring
the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house.
Test me in this," says the Lord Almighty, "and see if I will
not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that
you will not have room enough for it." Malachi 3:10
"On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made." I Corinthians 16:2 CSM Spring Banquet Features Howard Dayton On March 12 If you don't already have your tickets for the March 12 spring fundraising banquet, call CSM today at 703-591-5000. This is also an excellent opportunity to bring financially generous friends who would like to know more about CSM's work. Change Your Life Through LMS Beginning in April Always broke? Always late? Always in disarray? Get your priorities straight and put your life in order-from now on. CSM is beginning a new round of its life-changing 13-week Life Management Study classes in April. Discern God's plan for your life and learn to manage your time more effectively. Classes begin the week of April 19 with days and locations to be set based on the needs of students and availability of trained leaders. Ken Smith will lead a pastor's group tentatively scheduled to meet Thursday mornings from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Call the CSM office immediately at 703-591-5000 to reserve a place in a LMS class. Have you already taken LMS and put the principles of scripture-based time management into practice? Then CSM needs you as a leader to guide others seeking God's direction. Graduates of the course may sign up for CSM's Saturday, April 17, leadership training workshop from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Please phone the CSM office right away if you think God may be calling you to lead an LMS class. Organizations sponsoring LMS classes during the winter session include Church of the Apostles, Hope Christian, Jerusalem Baptist, New Life Covenant, St. Paul's Episcopal (Haymarket), Truro Episcopal and Fairfax Adult Detention Center. LMS participants meet in small groups with a trained leader for 13 two-hour weekly sessions and spend 20 to 30 minutes daily on homework. Course materials include a copy of Ken Smith's book It's About Time, a student manual and workbook, worksheets and a certificate. Course cost is $95.
